Attachment refers to the specific manner in which you relate to other people. Each one of us has a unique attachment style that has been affected and developed early on in life. The most important life in your attachment history are the first two years where you are most influenced by your primary caregiver. It is important for you to recognize your attachment style and how you experienced yourself during childhood as it provides you with an insight about your current relational patterns. It also paves your way for understanding your emotional predicaments and limitations as an adult and learn what needs to change if you want to improve your relationship with your loved ones.
