Topic: Educational and Experiential Package of Building a Lasting Connection and How to Use the Connection Mat with Couples        

In this session, Mr. Fatahian talked about the important role of building lasting connections in couples and presented effective approaches and techniques in establishing and maintaining such a bond, sharing his experiences of working with couples as they strive to do so. He then discussed the BLC (Building a Lasting Connection) package as an educational and experiential method that draws in the use of connection mat in working with couples. This package comes with instructions, techniques and exercises that couples can go through in order to improve their bonding experience. He then talked about the map of lasting connection that includes getting to know each other, emotional bonding, trust, commitment and last but not least, intimacy. The discussions from different perspectives helped participants to develop a better and deeper understanding of couple’s relations.
