Topic: What if the separation option is on the table?
In this session, Dr. Simon discussed the challenges and obstacles in a couple’s life that might lead to separations, drawing upon her expertise and views. She thoroughly discussed the followings: Common mistakes of therapists, reengaging the withdrawer, initiating therapy with couples who lack energy or motivation. She made important comments on how to help the couple develop a clearer picture among them and make better decisions for their future based on mutual understanding of what is going on in their marriage / relationship. Her presentation provided the participants with an opportunity to learn and grown more through their encounter with the presenter’s experiences.
