Title: Getting Clearer on the Tango and Assembly
The session started with a discussion concerning TEMO. TEMPO is a rather simple framework that helps you attune with elements of assessment. It is through TEMPO that we assemble elements of emotion during the session. For the assembly of emotions to be meaningful, it needs to be done in attunement with the couples’ experiences and it should not be thought of as a mechanical process. In fact, going through the TEMPO is a vulnerable experience and we guide the couple and walk them through it. For doing this, we work with emotions and through emotions. James also provided the audience with through and detailed explanations about how to do TEMPO and track the couple’s interaction cycle in different steps of tango.
